Miss Rama Berenice Quezada was crowened Miss Nicaragua 2017 on Saturday, March 25.
She received the crown from outgoing queen Marina Jacoby and will represent the country in Miss Universe.
She also bagged the lion’s share of special awards: Mejor Cabello, Miss Contempo, Mejor Personalidad, Miss Digital and Mejor Sonrisa.
“Prometo hacer un buen papel en Miss Universo (I promise to play a good role in Miss Universe)”, Quezada said after winning. She added that “que la competencia no estuvo nada fácil (the competition was not easy).”
Hellen Martinez placed first runner-up while Martha Meza is second runner-up. Allison Herrera (third runner-up), Danielle Hodgson (fourth runner-up) and Kathering Medina (fifth runner-up) completed the Top 6. Missosology.Org
