International beauty queens will go on a 13-day tour of the Philippine islands from July 1st to 13th under the Official Beauty Queens Tour Philippines 2014 (#BQTPh) project, which has been officially launched on Tuesday, July 2nd.
#BQTPh is a join tourism promotions campaign of FlipTrip and Philippine Airlines in partnership with Miss Tourism International 2013/2014 Angeli Dione Gomez and supported by the Philippines Tourism Promotions Board.
Candidates of the Miss Tourism International 2013/2014 pageant held last December in Malaysia will visit Manila, Camarines Sur, Cebu and Boracay and will be hosted by local companies and government bodies throughout the duration of their stay. They are Phan Hoang Thu (Vietnam), Asdis Lisa Karlsdottir (Iceland), Maria Rautio (Finland) Lucie Klukava (Czech Republic) and Kylie Miller (New Zealand).
#BQTPh aims to share the beauty of the Philippines with the world through tourism. It also serves as a platform to share and promote the artistry and craftsmanship of local Filipino brands to a global audience.
