The excitement is building up with just a few days to go before the much awaited coronation night of Bb Pilipinas 2019. Pageant enthusiasts eagerly await on who will wear the crowns and earn the right to represent the Philippines in the international stage.
We have all seen the 40 official candidates showcase their goods in the press presentation, parade of beauties, fashion show and national costume competition, and free speak round. The pre-pageant activities gave pageant analysts a glimpse of who are likely to stand out from a sea of beautiful ladies.
Leading Missosology.Org’s Fourth Hot Picks is from the Queen City of the South, Cebu’s Samantha Ashley Lo. Peaking at the right time, this 26-year-old model and English teacher amazed fans during the National Costume competition, where she was named one of the 10 finalists. But what propelled her to the top is her impressive performance in the free speak round. Her spontaneity and excellent communications skills, which reminds us of Rachel Peters, are her main weapons coming into the finals. Her genuine and engaging presence coupled with her overflowing charisma cemented her place as one of the girls to beat this year.
Occupying the second spot is Palawan’s Samantha Mae Bernardo. With body proportions nothing short of phenomenal, this 26-year-old stunner is firing on all cylinders, after being included in Talent Top 3 and National Costume Top 10.
Third on the list is the glamazona goddess Emma Tiglao from Pampanga. This 24-yea- old head-turner has superb catwalk skills which was evident during the Fashion Show. Her divine and regal bearing on stage also made her a Top 10 finalist in the National Costume round. Emma is currently at her best form and we believe it is the right time to give her the crown she so deserves.
The eloquent Julia Saubier from Daraga, Albay is now in fourth place on our leaderboard. This 24-year-old martial arts enthusiast is unarguably the best speaker of the batch. She comfortably answered questions during the PLDT sponsor visit, and milked every second of the free speak round to her advantage. She is gaining more fans as the pageant progresses, and it is no surprise given her engaging personality and beaming confidence.
Completing the top five for now is the exotic beauty Jessarie Dumaguing from Puerto Princesa. This 23-year-old model has strong stage presence and is giving us the Venus Raj vibe. Her hourglass figure and fierce catwalk are her greatest weapon.
Also worth mentioning are the the eloquent beauties of Masbate’s Hannah Arnold and Bataan’s Bea Patricia Magtanong. Both ladies did well in the free speak round. The beautiful faces of Talisay’s Gazini Christiana Ganados and Negros Occidental’ Vickie Marie Milagrosa Rushton are too hard to ignore, too! Also watch out for Laguna’s Leren Mae Bautista and Polangui’s Marie Sherry Ann Tormes who are also peaking at the right time.
