Athena Eva McNinch was crowned Miss Universe Guam 2018 in a glittering finale held August 15 at the Sheraton Laguna Guam Resort.
She bested 11 other finalists for the top plum and the right to represent the island at the 2018 Miss Universe competition in Thailand in December. She also bagged the Best in Swimwear and Best in Evening Gown awards.

McNinch, a Public Administration and Criminal Justice Pre-Law double major from the University of Guam, was chosen as one of 2017’s Truman Scholars, a premier graduate scholarship for aspiring public service leaders in the US.
Meanwhile, Kirsten Dahilig was named Miss International Guam 2018. She compete in Miss International beauty pageant in 2019. Dahilig also bagged the Best in Native, Miss Alterxego and Miss Congeniality speial awards.

Keshia Llarenas finished first runner-up. Completing the Top 5 were Cheyenne Santos (who was also awarded Miss Photogenic) and Noelle Fuentes Uy-Tuazon. Celine Nicole Comia bagged the People’s Choice award. Missosology.Org
