Anntonia Porsild is an example of a modern woman whose ambition is unbridled by negative criticisms. As the first – and so far the only – Miss Supranational from Thailand, Anntonia added a feather on her cap by finishing 1st runner-up at Miss Universe 2023. Thanks to her laser-like focus towards her goals, Anntonia almost achieved a feat of being the first woman to win two Big5 crowns. If she did, it would be very improbable to be replicated by anyone else.
At a glance, it may seem counterintuitive to pursue another crown when you are already a Big5 titleholder. It carries a risk that simply outweighs the benefits but that was exactly what Anntonia Porsild did. She is already Miss Supranational 2019 and if she failed at Miss Universe Thailand pageant, it will be a huge blow to her prestige. But everyone underestimated Antonnia’s obstinacy. She trudged on and the rest is history.
