Anna Burdzy from Leicester has been crowned Miss Universe Great Britain 2017.
The 25-year-old masters in law student at The University of Nottingham will represent Great Britain in the Miss Universe pageant later this year. She was born in the UK to Polish parents.
“Winning the title really means everything to me. I first competed in 2014 when I came 1st runner up so this represents the culmination of three years hard work,” said Burdzy, who finished first runner-up in 2014.

“I am looking forward to so many things, particularly travelling, working with good causes and making friends along the way.”
Saffron Corcoran and Victoria Turner placed 1st and second runners-up, respectively.
A total of 35 candidates competed in the finals held at the Riverfront, in Newport, on Saturday, July 15. Missosology.Org
