Pageant veteran Angèle Kossinda will once again grace the Big5 pageant stage, this time as Cameroon’s first ever representative to the Miss Universe competition.

The 27-year-old model is will compete at the 69th Miss Universe pageant to be held in May in the USA, continuing with the tradition of bringing pride to her country.

“Thank you all so much for the support it’s so unexpected and overwhelming you’re giving me strength,” Kossinda commented on her Instagram account shortly after the announcement.

In 2017, Kossinda represented Cameroon in Miss Earth and placed in the Top 16. In 2019 she competed in Miss International but was unplaced.She also went to Miss Supranational 2019 where she was a Top 25 finalist and bagged the Miss Supranational Africa subtitle.

Camaroon has yet to win the Miss Universe. The country ranks 143rd in Missosology Big 5 Ranking. Missosology.Org
