For Andrea Tovar, the road to Miss Colombia 2015 title is not easy. With no official backing from the department of Choco (all other candidates have official backing from the departments) Andrea has to rely on Vanessa Mendoza, the first Choco beauty to win the national crown, for support. Then, last year, she is supposed to represent her department but has to step aside for another girl.
A daughter of a doctor and a businesswoman, Andrea Tovar is 5’10” tall and is 22 years old. She is studying Industrial Design at Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano in Bogota. She will soon represent Colombia at the Miss Universe 2016 contest.
