Mexicana Universal 2018 winner and the reigning Miss Universe Mexico, Andrea Toscano (20) will represent her powerhouse country at the 59th Miss International. National director Lupita Jones officially designated the young beauty queen from Colima as Miss International Mexico 2019, succeeding last year’s delegate Nebai Torres.

Toscano is a nutrition major at the prestigious University of Colima. She has been utilizing her field of expertise to promote nutrition awareness in rural Mexico. Although she went unplaced at Miss Universe 2018, Toscano has continued with her nutrition awareness advocacy which is currently being supported by the Mexican government.
With more than 500,000 followers, Toscano is currently the most-followed Miss International delegate on Instagram. This will be the first time in history that a competing delegate has more followers than the official Instagram account of the pageant that she is joining in.
