For the Miss Earth 2015 finals, Leo designed something unique for Angelia Ong. In between his extremely busy schedule, Leo briefly described to Missosology the concept of Angelia’s gown. “The overall theme of the gown is romantic classic,” he said. “The fabulous laser-cut flower details with crystals are renaissance period inspired.”

How Angelia Ong’s gown came into being can be traced back to the clues that one can pick up in Almodal’s vision for fashion. His mission is to fuse classic beauty and divine elegance with a provocative touch of femininity. This explains a lot on the choice of color for the gown which is classic gold. The dress is also a bit of a risqué due to its strapless design. Many fashion gurus were actually concerned that could easily invite wardrobe malfunction.

Wearing that elegant gown onstage in Vienna, Angelia looked statuesque and it hugged her body figure perfectly. There was no doubt that the gown enhanced her beauty and it was one of the key factors that made her win the coveted title. What was great is how she matched her gown with her long straight hair. With Angelia, Leo Almodal achieved his vision – a provocative form of femininity that blended well with Angelia’s classic beauty and elegance.
