Ana Haložan, an 18 year old model from Slovenske Konjice, was crowned as a new Miss Universe Slovenia in a pageant held on October 4. Ana is a student at Commercial School in Maribor and will compete in the next edition of Miss Universe.
Fourteen jurors, which includes Miss Universe Slovenia 2002 Iris Mulej, judged each contestants in various fields including the swimsuits and gown. Urška Novak was adjudged as first runner-up while Anjo Kragelj is the second runner-up. Katja Trdan meanwhile is the Miss Photogenic and Danijela Zagorščak is the Miss Congeniality.
