Amarachi Uwakwe has recently been named as the new Miss Earth Nigeria. She was a runner-up in last years Miss Earth Nigeria pageant. Amarachi hails from Owerri in the southwestern state of Imo. She will represent Nigeria in the upcoming Miss Earth 2014 pageant which is to be held in Manila, Philippines on November 29.
