Aidai Isaeva, 24 years old from Almaty is the new Miss Kazakhstan. She is expected to compete at Miss World 2014 or 2015 however because of her age, she is likely to compete only in 2014 (Miss World upper age limit is 24). However, last year’s winner Zhazira Nurimbetova is yet to compete in any international pageant. Zhazira for example was replaced by Aygerim Kozhakanova at Miss Universe. Meanwhile Miss Kazakhstan 2011 Ainura Toleuova represented the country at Miss World. Interestingly, Zhazira is not the one who passed the crown to Aidai.
Miss Kazakhstan is being held annually and usually sends its winners to Miss World and sometimes at Miss Universe. The pageant has also sent participants to Miss Earth twice and to Miss International once.
