Miss Grand Thailand 2014 kicked off last April 26th with a 1-day screening of applicants at the Centara Central World Bangkok headed by Nawat Itsaragrisil, President of Miss Grand Thailand and Miss Grand International Pageants. This is the 2nd presentation of Miss Grand Thailand Organization who will crown five new titleholders on June 17, 2014.
These five Thai beauties who will emerge victorious at the end of the show will represent Thailand in Miss Grand International in Bangkok, Miss Earth in Manila, Philippines, Miss Supranational (venue to be announced), Miss Intercontinental in Germany and Miss Tourism International in Malaysia. The winners will also be the official ambassadress of The Foundation of King Rama 9, The Great and The National Council on Social Welfare of Thailand. As the final period of the coronation night will be on the same period as the World Cup 2014, the concept of this year’s pageant aside from its “STOP THE WAR” campaign is to join the atmosphere of the World Cup cheering with the Sport Pageant concept.
The final 50 candidates will join the activities with famous Thailand Premier League Foot ball club, Buriram United FC (Thunder Castle) in Buriram, Thailand from May 23-26, 2014.
The five winners will receive fabulous prizes totaling to around 6 million baht, partly composed of a brand new car, a townhouse and an intensive pageant training in the Philippines.
