Anicia Gaothusi is a stunning 22-year-old beauty who hails from Tutume. She will represent Botswana at the Miss World 2025 pageant which is the 72nd edition. Anicia hopes to secure her country’s first-ever Miss World crown. This year, her compatriot, Lesego Chombo, was a frontrunner and made it all the way to the Top 4. The highest placement for a Bastwana beauty queen at Miss World happened in 2010 when Emma Wareus was named as the first runner-up.
The Miss Botswana 2024 pageant was held in Tlokweng, east of the capital city of Gaborone. Halle Hirschfeld was named first runner-up while the second runner-up is Sebaga Manyapetsa. A total of 10 finalists competed for the prestigious title.
