Mitchel Ihezue will represent Nigeria at the Miss Universe 2023 pageant which will be held in El Salvador. She is 26 years old and hails from the state of Imo. She was the 2017 winner of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant and she competed at Miss World 2017 where she placed among the Top 15. Pageantry aside, Mitchel is pursuing her MBA at Lagos Business School.
Mitchel Ihezue will have that daunting task of winning Nigeria’s first ever Miss Universe crown. The country’s highest placement was the Top 10 finish of Agbani Darego in 2001. Agbani went on to become Miss World in 2002. Nigeria is currently ranked 57th at the Big5 Ranking.
