Kirari Oshiro is the new Miss Earth Japan 2023! The 20 year old university student from Okinawa beat 22 other contestants. She will represent Japan in Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam with the finals slated on December 16. Completing the court of Kirari are Haruna Kobi from Tokyo, Arisa Nagasaki from Osaka and Yuki Kusunoki from Niigata. Miss Earth 2022 Mina Sue Choi and Miss Earth Fire 2021 Jareerat Petsom are the special guests during the coronation which was held in Tokyo.
Japan is yet to win the Miss Earth crown. The country’s highest placement was in 2010 when Marina Kishira made it to the Top 7.
