One has to meet Jasmin Selberg in person to fully appreciate her beauty. Her stunning looks and towering height complements her blonde hair and blue eyes. Charming and beguiling, she is always grounded and approachable. However, behind her showstopper looks is a woman of substance and humility.
Born Estonian, Jasmin moved to Germany at such a young age and has a deep interest in Japanese culture. Such cross-cultural experience allowed her to become a polyglot and a citizen of the world. She is truly an embodiment of modern beauty queen.
Her Miss International journey is a Cinderella-like story. No one saw her star shining at the start but she peaked when it matters most. Her victory is the first major crown for Germany since 1989. This reversed the declining trend of a country that enjoyed a beauty superpower status in the 1960s and 1970s. By steering her country away from plunging into the abyss of beauty pageant nadir, Jasmin deserves a recognition that she barely received from her own home country.
