Cheam Wei Yeng (Lesly) is the new Miss Universe Malaysia. She was crowned in glittering ceremony held at M Resort & Hotel in Kuala Lumpur participated by a total of 15 finalists. In the same pageant, Ajunee Simreet Kaur Khangura was named as the first runner-up while Tee Wan Ying was bestowed with the 2nd runner-up title. Cheam Wei Yeing is 26 years of age and is a pharmaceutical and health science graduate. She hails from the state of Selangor and will represent Malaysia at the 71st Miss Universe pageant which will be held in New Orleans on January 2023.
