Katharina Sarah Prager, was crowned Miss Earth Austria 2022 in a pageant held in Kursalon Hübner in Austrian capital city of Vienna. The 19-year-old advocate of clean energy generation from Weitra will compete for the Miss Earth 2022 crown later this year in the Philippines. A total of 15 contestants vied for the Miss Earth Austria crown. Leonela Zorilla was crowned Miss Air while Susn Radlmayer and Lena Schrems were crowned Miss Water and Miss Fire respectively.
Austria is yet to win the Miss Earth crown. The country’s highest placements was when Katia Wagner finished as Miss Earth-Air 2013 and when Melanie Mader was crowned as Miss Earth-Air 2018. Austria is currently ranked 36th in the Big5 Ranking.
