Miss Pasay Celeste Cortesi, Miss Makati Michelle Dee and Miss Misamis Oriental Annabelle Mae McDonnell became the instant favorites during the official press presentation of the Top 32 finalists. Their front-runner status seems to have been cemented after winning the three special awards presented by the pageant’s sponsor.
Celeste Cortesi, a top favorite and who won the Miss Earth Philippines crown in 2018, took the Best Arrival Look award. Michelle Dee, also a top favorite and Miss World Philippines 2019, was bestowed with Multi-Level Queen prize. Annabelle Mae McDonnell meanwhile took the Catwalk Queen sash. All awards were presented by Frontrow.
The official press presentation of the Top 32 finalists was held at Hilton Manila in Pasay City. The finals of Miss Universe Philippines 2022 will be on April 30 and will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena. The pageant will be hosted by Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mitternaere and Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Peters-Tebow. Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu will also attend as a special guest.
