Bernadette Belle Wu-Ong was named Miss Universe Singapore 2020, the organization announced in a Zoom press conference on December 10.
The 26-year-old actress, singer and model will represent the city-state in the next edition of Miss Universe. She was named Miss Charm Singapore in last year’s Miss Universe Singapore finals where she was also awarded Miss Aspirational.
Wu-Ong credits living abroad at a young age as having expanded her horizons and given her the ability to relate to a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds. She enjoys the creative arts and is training to be a professional Disc Jockey. She speaks English, Tagalog, and conversational Mandarin.
