Andrea Montero was crowned Señorita Costa Rica 2020 during the finals of Concurso Nacional de Belleza Costa Rica held October 15.
The 19-year-old English teacher from Limon bested six other finalists for the title and the right to represent Costa Rica in the next edition of the Miss World contest.
“On January 26 I was crowned Miss World Limón 2020 and today I am Miss Costa Rica 2020. Can you imagine my happiness? After 11 months I can only thank so much love, so much support and so many positive messages that motivate me to become the queen that the Costa Rican people want,” Montero posted on Instagram.
Camila Tobón finished as virreina (vice-queen) while Montserrat Blanco completed the Top 3.
