A former Miss World contestant was crowned Miss Universe Great Britain 2019 during the finals held July 13 at Mercure Holland House Cardiff.
Emma Jenkins, a 26-year-old presenter and TV makeup artist from Llanelli, will now represent Great Britain at the 2019 Miss Universe pageant.
Cara Frew and Erin Williams placed first and second runners-up, respectively. Christina Chalk and Zania Linton completed the Top 5.
Jenkins was crowned Miss Wales in 2015, earning her the right to represent Wales in Miss World in China where she was unplaced. She was also a candidate in Miss Universe Great Britain 2017.
She has been a patron and volunteer for the last four years for the S.T.A.R project, a preventative workshop educating young people about the importance of safety, trust and respect in relationships.
