The Misters of Filipinas (MoF) pageant marked its sixth edition with the crowning of the country’s newest “kings” during the campus heartthrob-themed finale held October 3 at the iconic Music Museum in San Juan City.
The new kings
Mark Kevin Baloaloa of Catanauan, Quezon was named Mister International Philippines 2018. The 26-year-old freelance liaison officer will head on to compete in the next edition of the Mister International competition. He also bagged the Best in Resorts Wear award.
Meanwhile, John Paul Ocat of City of Talisay, Cebu won the Man of the World Philippines 2018 title. The 23-year-old model and international studies graduate will compete at the 2018 Man of the World pageant. Man of the World is owned by Prime Event Productions Philippines Foundation Inc, the producer of (MoF).
MoF second-timer Casius Panopio, 23, of Batangas finished first runner-up and bagged the Best in Formal Wear award.
Federico Palejon, 19, of the Filipino Community of Florence, Italy placed second runner-up. He was fast-tracked to the Top 15 after winning the People’s Choice award.
Tarlac Province’s Ruben Anthony Timbol, the youngest among the contestants at 17, was third runner-up. He also bagged the Face of MoF (Mister Photogenic), Best in Casual Wear and the Missosologists’ Choice awards.
Completing the Top 10 finalists were Elcid Magne Camacho (Cebu City), Daniel Jego Nacnac (Laoag City), Aldrin Bryan Palma (Imus, Cavite), Erik de la Seña (Iligan City), and Willy Quinto (Valenzuela City)
The rest of the Top 15 were John Chris Gamez (Filipino Community of Rome, Italy), Camarines (Calbayog City, Samar), Errol Morgan (Errol Morgan), Jerry Robert Treyes (San Narciso, Zambales), and Judah Nathaniel Tiosejo (Capas, Tarlac).
Special award winners
Daniel Jego Nacnac of Laoag City was named Best in Talent while John Chris Gamez of the Filipino Community of Rome, Italy won Best in Ethnic Costume.
Voted by the contestants as the Mr Congeniality was Jake Camarines of Calbayog City, Samar, while the Mr Personality award went to Aldrin Bryan Palma of Imus, Cavite.
Jasper Neill Ong of the Filipino-Chinese community bagged the MoF Filipino Community Ambassador award while Cebu City’s Elcid Magne Camacho was named Best in Swimwear.

Reigning Mister International Seung Hwan Lee, Miss Earth Philippines 2018 Celeste Cortesi, Man of the World 2017 Mostafa Galal Elezali and Man of the Year 2016 Karan Singhdole were among the panel of judges.
Mister International president Alan Sim also graced the event, as well as former Misters of Filipinas kings including Mister International 2014 Neil Perez.
Sought-after events host Michael Bristol and Bb Pilipinas 2018 second runner-up Samantha Bernardo hosted the event. Missosology.Org
