Bethany Harris from Newport was named Miss Wales 2018 on April 28 at a grand ceremony at The Riverfront in Newport.
The 20-year-old model bested 27 other contestants for the chance to represent Wales at the 2018 Miss World finals to be held in China in December.
“Winning Miss Wales is a dream come true and I want to use this year to encourage other girls to go for whatever it is they want. Nothing’s guaranteed but you’ve to aim high,” Harris was quoted by South Wales Argus.
