Meet the 21 semifinalists of Miss Finland 2017 (Miss Suomi). The 21 semi-finalists will compete in order to get a spot next September for the top ten . The race has just started and these beautiful women have an exciting journey training hard, using social media, PR work, and catwalk. The Miss Finland or Miss Suomi contest is historically one of the successful national organizations. It has produced the following winners: Anne Pohtamo (Miss Universe 1975), Marita Lindahl (Miss World 1957) and Anneli Björkling (Miss International 1973). The first ever Miss Universe, Armi Kuusela, was from another pageant named Suomen Neito. Today, the Miss Finland or Miss Suomi contest is responsible for sending the Finnish delegates to Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss Earth and Miss International.
