Izabella Krzan was crowned as Miss Polonia 2016, and thus will represent Poland in the Miss Universe 2016 pageant which will be held in the Philippines. Izabella Krzan is 21 years old, 5’11” tall and comes from the northeastern city of Olsztyn. Currently, she is studying economics at Warsaw University of Life Sciences.
The Miss Polonia contest is actually making a comeback after a four-year break. The last formal pageant was conducted in 2012 where Paulina Krupińska won. In the subsequent years, the Miss Universe representatives from the country were simply appointed. It can be said that Paulina is longest reigning Miss Polonia ever.
