Simone Freitag has been crowned as the new Miss Mundo Paraguay (Miss World Paraguay). She represented the Alto Parana department at the nationals. The pageant was organized by Reinas de Bellezas del Paraguay and was held in Hotel Savoy de Encarnación.
Paraguay has two Miss World semifinalists – Daisy Caballero in 1985 and Egni Eckert in 2010. Nicole Huber meanwhile made it to the Top 20 in 2011. Needless to say, no Paraguayan beauty has ever won the Miss World crown. Will Simone Freitag change the luck of Paraguay when she competes at Miss World 2016 pageant which will be held in Washington D.C. this December?
