Brunella Fossa who hails from the city of Piura has been crowned as Miss Tierra Perú or Miss Earth Peru 2016. Her runners-up are, Pierina Melendez (Miss Earth Aire Perú), Karen Valverde (Miss Earth Agua Perú) and Debora Barrantes (Miss Earth Fuego Perú).
Brunella Fossa will represent her country at the Miss Earth 2016 pageant will is expected to be held in the Philippines later this year. Peru has placed at the Miss Earth semis in 2002, 2004 and in 2007 it made as far as Top 8.
