After some disqualification and replacements following the screening, we now have the 40 candidates (with their official Binibini numbers) who will battle it all out on April 17 for the chance to represent the Philippines in Miss Universe, Miss International and Miss Supranational, among other international pageants.
Filipinos have been tagged as “the best pageant fans in the world”. Recognizing this, we have decided to run an online poll in our forum to know who are the favorites of the fans this early in the game. The fan votes (poll ended 7pm, February 26) along with the votes of Missosology’s core group determined the Second Hot Picks.
There have been shake-ups in the list, so enough suspense. Here’s Missosology’s Bb Pilipinas 2016 Second Hot Picks.
From 15th place in the previous list, Maria Mika Maxene Medina zooms to first place. This 25-year-old professional model topped the online poll with over 1000 votes. But aside from being popular among pageant fans, it couldn’t be denied that this lady exudes so much elegance.
In second place is the statuesque Kim Ross Delos Santos. She’s down one spot in the list but that doesn’t mean this girl is losing her luster. In fact, she remains one of the heavy favorites, and her fashion editorial shoots with local magazines are proof that she is femme fatale.
Now up in third place is the bubbly Angelique Celine De Leon. She continues to wow pageant observers with her improved styling and good taste in fashion. But more than the physical, she is well loved for her positive attitude.
In fourth place is returning candidate Kylie Verzosa. One of the best faces in the competition and definitely someone to watch out for come finals. She seems well-prepared this year and won’t settle for anything less than a crown.
Rounding up the Top 5 for now is Nichole Marie Manalo who remains to be the most improved returning candidate. She is fiercer, stronger and better. It won’t be a surprise if she finally clinches a crown this year.
