Natalia Onet, 26 years of age and 5’9” tall, will represent Romania at the Miss World 2015 contest. She was born in Satu Mare but calls Bucharest as her home.
Natalia Onet is into fencing and she is passionate about traveling, psychology, skiing, horse riding and swimming. Above all she is concerned about the welfare of the young kids. She has been active in charity works for children as part of her duties as Miss World Romania.
Natalia Onet graduated from the Faculty of Biology specializing in Ecology and the Environment at the University of Bucharest. She also have a master’s degree in tourism at the same institution. In the future, Natalia wants a career in television, as she had worked already as an assistant on a TV network.
Romania is currently ranked as 97th at the Big4 Ranking [CLICK HERE]. The ranking gives the historical strength of each nation based on its placements in the Big4 Pageants namely – Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss Earth and Miss International. Romania has been steadily climbing in the ranking especially since Ioana Boitor placed as first princess at Miss World 2006.
This year’s Miss World contest will be held in Sanya, China. More than 100 women from around the world will compete for the coveted title. Rolene Strauss of South Africa, the current Miss World, will relinquish her crown on December 19.
