Paulina Brodd, daughter of Miss Universe 1990 and Miss Universe 1990 semifinalist Monica Brodd, won the Miss Universe Sweden 2015 title in a pageant held in July 19. She will represent Sweden at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant. The 20 year old model stands 5’9.6″ tall and has been tagged as a frontrunner even before the formal pageant started. Sweden boasts 3 Miss Universe titles but has been struggling recently to match its record on the earlier periods of Miss Universe. Since 1998, it has only managed to be in the semis twice. The national organization of Sweden tasked in selecting its Miss Universe contestants has also been in tatters and the country had missed the 2005, 2007 and 2008 editions of the global pageant.
