Pour la troisième année consécutive, Miss Tahiti est arrivée à la deuxième place samedi du concours Miss France. Après Hinarani de Longeaux, battue par Marine Lorphelin en 2012, Mehiata Riaria, battue par Flora Coquerel en 2013, Hinarere Taputu a elle aussi été élue première dauphine de la nouvelle Miss France, Camille Cerf.
Cette année, le récapitulatif des résultats montre que le jury a placé Camille Cerf et Hinarere Taputu à égalité, et que c’est le vote du public qui a fait gagner la métropolitaine. Les gens dans les médias sociaux ont immédiatement réagi. “Quatre millions d’habitants dans le Nord-Pas-de-Calais, 280 000 en Polynésie, comment tu veux qu’on gagne ?” s’interroge ainsi Moea. “Faut arrêter là, c’est toujours à un point près, c’est truqué”, soupçonne Teva. “Hey, le comité Miss France, une fois ça va, deux fois… Mais trois fois, c’est trop !” renchérit Yohan.
Alors, pensez-vous que les résultats des concours de Miss France est équitable? Ou bien la malédiction Tahiti frappe encore?
For the third consecutive year, a Miss Tahiti candidate finished as second place at the Miss France contest. It all started with Hinarani de Longeaux who finished second in 2012 to Marine Lorphelin. And then, Flora Coquerel defeated Mehiata Riaria in 2013 and now Hinarere Taputu became second only to Camille Cerf during the pageant held in Saturday, December 6.
This year, the judges called it tie for both Camille Cerf and Hinarere Taputu but the public vote broke the deadlock. The people in various social media sites immediately reacted. One named Moea twitted “A quarter of a million people of Nord-Pas-de-Calais, 280, 000 in French Polynesia, who do you think will win?” Another named Teva twitted that it would probably cost Miss France a lot of money to stage the pageant in Tahiti not to mention the huge time difference. Another one name Yohan tweeted “Hey, Miss France Organization, you did it once, then twice….but three times is enough”.
