Miss International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago and Miss Universe Philippines 2014 Mary Jean Lastimosa were among this year’s “Women of Style & Substance” feted by PeopleAsia magazine at a special awards night held Monday, September 29th, at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza.
The awardees, chosen for “breaking the glass ceiling through their achievements and advocacies” were all featured in the magazine”s August-September 2014 issue.
Also included in this year’s list are actress and former beauty titlist Alice Dixon, Bb Pilipinas-International 2014 Bianca Guidotti, Bb Pilipinas-Supranational Yvethe Marie Santiago and former Bb Pilipinas candidate Mia Arcenas.
Other awardees are TV host-singer Toni Gonzaga, volleyball player Alyssa Valdez, philanthropist Jenny Rockett, broadcast journalist Kara David, Maricar Parco of Asian Carmakers Corp, Pinkerton founder Alexandra Rocha-Araneta, TV personalicty Iya Villania, blogger Ingrid Chua-Go, jewelry designer Malou Romero and scientist Reina Reyes.
