Zar Li Moe beat 15 other contestants earning the crown and title as well the right to represent Myanmar at the 71st Miss Universe pageant. She is a 20-year-old commercial model from Bhamo. This year’s Miss Universe Myanmar pageant was held at the Grand Ballroom of the Novotel Hotel in Yangon. Finishing as first runner-up is Ya Mone while the second runner-up is Thinzar Min Htet. Completing the Top 5 are: Kendra Khaing and Kay Zin Khant.
Myanmar is yet to win the Miss Universe crown. In 2020, Thuzar Wint Lwin, made history for being the first ever Myanmar beauty queen to make it to the semis of Miss Universe pageant. Myanmar is currently ranked 105th in the Big5 Pageant.
