Yely Rivera was crowned Miss Peru 2021 during the finals held October 10.
The 27-year-old model bested five other finalists for the title. She will represent the nation at the 70th Miss Universe competition in Eilat, Israel in December. She received the crown from Miss Peru 2020 Janick Maceta.
Camila Escribens and Mei Azo placed first and second runners-up, respectively.
Beauty definitely runs in the blood as Yely is the sister of Miss Peru 2019 Kelin Rivera, who placed in the Top 10 of Miss Universe 2019.
