Yaliza Burgos was crowned Miss Supranational Dominican Republic 2019 in a special ceremony held May 28 at Monalisa Lounge in Santo Domingo.
She will now represent the Caribbean nation at the 2019 Miss Supranational contest.
Burgos holds a degree in business management from Berkeley College in New York. She had an internship with CNN and currently works as a financial analyst in the consumer industry. She is also pursuing a career in the entertainment industry as an actress and host.
