Vanessa Ukevwe Chinyemba was crowned Miss Zambia 2020 during the finals held December 30 at The Corner Cafe in Lusaka.
The 23-year-old public relations student and fashion model bested 12 other finalists for the title. She is expected to represent the African nation in the next edition of Miss World.
Angela Malenga and Victoria Mulengula placed first and second runners-up, respectively.
Chinyemba also works as a mobilisation director at Zambia I Want, an organization that aims to improve the living standards of Zambians through various initiatives.
