Valerie Abou Chacra is the new Miss Lebanon! She was crowned at the conclusion of a televised event on October 13. Valerie Abou Chacra will compete at the Miss Universe pageant which will be held on December 20 in a yet to be named American city but more likely in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Valerie Abou Chacra was crowned by the outgoing Miss Lebanon 2014 Saly Greige. It must be pointed out that Saly was a controversial Miss Universe 2014 contestant after a photo surfaced showing her and Miss Israel Doron Matalon standing side by side. It is illegal for any Lebanese citizen to have any form of contact with any Israeli citizen.
Lebanon can boast one Miss Universe crown which was won by Georgina Rizk. It is by far the most successful Arab nation at the pageant. It is currently ranked 51st at the Big4 Ranking. CLICK HERE
