Uzbekistan to debut at Miss International with Tamila Xodjayeva

Uzbekistan will be present at Miss International for the first time.  Prague-based model Tamila Xodjayeva (Khodjaeva) became the newly appointed Miss International Uzbekistan 2019.  The 27-year-old stunner was 2nd Runner-up at the Miss Global 2018.

Uzbekistan is the second country from Central Asia which has confirmed its participation in the 59th Miss International Beauty Pageant.  Neighboring Kazakhstan already announced its comeback after 14 years of absence.  There are also unconfirmed reports that Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan will be sending their respective delegate at the annual Big5 pageant.

Miss International 2019 will be held in Tokyo, Japan on November 12th.  Mariem Velazco of Venezuela will crown her successor at a glittering event which will be aired live on Japanese cable TV.   This year’s edition of Miss International expects to break its record of 77 delegates, which was achieved last year.
