Tyler Theophan will represent the Caribbean island nation of Saint Lucia at the 70th Miss World contest in Puerto Rico later this year.

The 23-year-old beauty is a youth activist from the culturally rich community of Caffeiere in Choiseul in the South of the island. No stranger to pageants, Theophane was Miss Saint Lucia 2016 Carnival Queen. She was Miss Jaycees Intl Queen 2017 first runner-up and Miss Caribbean Culture 2017 first runner-up.

“It does bring a lot of joy to our hearts to know that I got the opportunity to represent my people and my country on such a large platform with a large stage. I have a great interest in assisting the youth, the underprivileged youth and also assisting them in terms of finding recreational activities and providing them with educational support,” Theophan said.

The Miss Saint Lucia World 2021 finals was held May 23 at Sandals Halcyon Mirage Lounge.
