Syria will make its debut in the Miss Earth pageant this year.
Tiya Alkerdi has been handpicked to represent the country at the 2020 Miss Earth virtual competition in November.
Alkerdi is 23-year-old model from Aleppo. She previously participated in Miss Arab 2017 and Miss Syria Elegance 2018 competitions.
