Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Datul, Miss Universe 2013 third runner-up Ariella Arida and Miss International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago were feted earlier in the Philippine Senate. They were commended for their outstanding achievements in international pageants and for bringing honor and prestige to the country. They were joined by Michael Christian Martinez who was honored for his 19th place finish in the just concluded 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games. Michael is the first Southeast Asian figure skater who made it to the finals of Olympic Games.
Mutya, Ariella and Bea Rose were all products of Binibini Gold Pageant. Their victories reflect the 50 years of excellence of Bb. Pilipinas and cemented its place the the most prestigious and most recognizable beauty pageant in the Philippines.
