Thalia Zinsonni was crowned Miss Earth Burkina Faso during the finals held March 12 in Ouagadougou.
The 21-year-old bank insurance licensing student edged out 12 other candidates for the title and the right to represent the west African nation in the next edition of the Miss Earth pageant. She succeeded last year’s titleholder Amira Naïmah Bassané.
Dambre Fabiola and Kontogom Emelie Dorcas finished first and second runners-up, respectively.
