Taqiyyah Francis from St John’s has been named Miss World Antigua & Barbuda 2019.
The 25-year-old graphic design graduate will represent the Caribbean islands at the 2019 Miss World contest in December in London.
“I am so honoured to represent my country and will do my best to make everyone who has supported me proud. I can’t wait to meet everyone in London,” Francis said.
Francis was one of the winners of the Miss Antigua Barbuda 2018 pageant, where she took home the Miss Antigua Barbuda Gold title.
