Tajiya Sahay was crowned Miss Cook Islands 2019 during the finals held October 26.

The 26-year-old stunner bested six other aspirants for the title and the right to compete at the 2019 Miss World contest in December in London. Sahay also took home the special awards for pageant interviews, Pareu and evening gown.

Emma Kainuku-Walsh and Pearl Lazaro placed first and second runners-up, respectively.

Meanwhile, Maruia Willie was named Miss Maeva Nui, with Eva Parker as her runner-up.
