Sun Jiaxin was crowned Miss Universe China 2020 during the finals held December 9 in Nanjing.
The 21-year-old student from Beijing bested more than 80 other aspirants for the title and the right to represent China in the next edition of Miss Universe.
She was crowned with the “”Hollow Valley Orchid” crown valued at $800,000 and a pearl dress that is worth over $500,000.
Dan Wu and Yujia Chen were first and second runners-up, respectively.
