Sonia Hernández has been named Miss Earth Spain 2019, the organization announced on its social media pages on September 11.
The 22-year-old business administration and marketing student will represent the European country at the 2019 Miss Earth competition in October in the Philippines.
Organización Miss Earth Spain president José Pulido said in a statement that the organization opted not to hold a national finals this year due to time constraints. Next year’s pageant will take place in March, he added.
