Phnom Penh native and 18-year old beauty Somnang Alyna has been crowned as Miss Universe Cambodia in a pageant held earlier this week. A total of 25 contestants slugged it out till the finale which was staged in the opulent NABA Theatre in the center of the capital city.
Somnang Alyna is first year student at the Pannasastra University of Cambodia, majoring in International Relations. She will represent Cambodia in the Miss Universe 2019 pageant which will be held later this year. This is only the third time that Cambodia will be sending a representative in the pageant.
